During the height of the summer season the Outer Banks are more alive than ever! Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks got four stars in an annual report on water quality released today by the Natural Resources Defense Council.

The organization’s19th annual report on beach water quality gives information on water monitoring, pollution and other issues for more than 6,000 beaches across the country, according to a news release.
